Love Bug, a branding and digital communication agency specializing in the culture and entertainment industry was founded with a strong concept inspired by the infamous 'Love Bug' virus. However, despite their unique backstory, they didn’t have yet a cohesive visual identity to match. Love Bug needed a compelling brand to launch their agency, one that people would love and that showcased their own capabilities in branding and communication.

I crafted a brand that embodies the 'love virus' using an approachable and playful tone while maintaining professional credibility. To get the intended message across to the audience, I combined nostalgia from the early days of the internet in the 2000s with contemporary aesthetics.

The Love Bug brand has a variety of graphic elements that share the same hierarchy, allowing for freedom while maintaining coherence. I aimed to capture the free and sometimes senseless spirit of the internet, resonating with millennials through their shared experiences with the popularization of the internet and music culture. The final product was launched in Love Bug's digital ecosystem, both internally and externally.

Collaborating directly with the client, we defined the brand territory and positioning, focusing on differentiation. I shaped the brand territory and conceptual universe using my own conceptualization methodology with keyword maps, which was truly clarifying for the client and their newborn brand.

As the project continued, I conceived the whole visual identity and its applications, establishing brand guidelines for graphics and photography. To ensure consistency, I oversaw the initial implementation with the in-house design team.
